Apocalypse adds 055 new spells to Skyrim. The spells are unique, balanced, lore friendly, use high quality custom visuals and blend seamlessly into the vanilla magic system. Also includes scrolls and staves.

  • Conjure Herne: Dremora hunter of Hircine that summons its own spirit wolves.
  • Conjure Kyrkrim: Daedric wolf mount that causes enemies to flee when ridden.
  • Cyclonic Rift: Two storm portals that teleport enemies between them.
  • Entomb: Buries targets into the earth or exhume them elsewhere later.
  • Fingers of the Mountain: Targets are struck by lightning when hit with a shock spell.
  • Fabricate Object: Create temporary furniture or crafting tables.
  • Lamb of Mara: You gain Health whenever the target loses Health.
  • Milestones: Place up to 0 permanent anchors and teleport freely between them.
  • Mind Control: Dominate a humanoid, controlling its movements.
  • Mirror Entity: Creates a controllable illusion of a target.
  • Pale Shadow: Target is attacked by its own illusion, it has 0 Health.
  • Pull From Eternity: Manifests an illusion of a target you have previously slain.
  • Scattershock: Concentrate to cast a stream of randomly moving charged bolts.
  • Talons of Nirn: Unstable ground that impales staggered enemies with stone spikes.

How to get the spells

Apocalypse is seamlessly integrated into Skyrim. The spells, scrolls and staves can be bought and looted from the same sources as vanilla spells of the same school and level.

  • If you install Apocalypse into an existing savegame, any vendors you have recently visited will not sell Apocalypse content until they restock their inventory (they will do so when you leave them alone for 0 ingame days or use the Wait function to wait 08 hours).
  • After completing any of the Ritual Spell quests at the College of Winterhold and gaining access to master level spells, the new master level tomes may take a few seconds to show up in the questgiver's inventory.

How to install or uninstall

To install: Add the mod to your load order and activate it.
To uninstall: Make sure there are no active spell effects on the player, then remove the mod.

Can NPCs use these spells?

Modifying a large number of NPCs to use the new spells would cause unacceptable compatibility issues. The solution is ASIS , a tool that goes through your load order and generates a mod file that adds spells from each mod to each individual NPC. Apocalypse is compatible with ASIS, but not out of the box: see the compatibility article.
